Dr. Handie has taken very good care of my daughter and myself. She injured both feet last summer, and I have a joint issue. I was ready to move forward on surgery twice, but he was hesitant because of the risk of re-injury in the near future. Just had my son who is a Tae Kwon Do student and trainer looked at by Dr Handie due to a foot pain he had. Dr Handie not only gave clear and helpful guidance to my son, he also was extremely relate-able and able to adjust the recommended care to help my son's recovery while at the same time allowing him to continue his training for the Olympics. He did a bunionectomy and a removal of a bunionette on the same foot. The bunionette is the SAME as before the surgery. Same pain! He didn't listen to me. Ever. Kept saying "give it time". It's been 2 years!!! Awful.
