Went straight to the source of the pain in my foot! Treated it with medication and it is now resolved. Excellent bedside manner!
I had foot surgery in 2016. He does excellent work! He is knowledgeable about his field of work. Dr. Handie is compassionate and truly cares about his patients. He stays abreast of cutting edge technology and utilizes the in his practice.
My visits have been very rewarting and the personal have been very polite and helpful. See you soon
He doesn't listen. He talks more than he listens which shows that the patients needs are not that important. I respect the fact that he's "credentialed" but anytime that you think that you KNOW more than what concerns the patient, that's a problem and your just all ego at that point. It's an added stress that we don't need.
He did both my feet and both big toenails... he is a great doctor and surgeon.....he also helped my dad with his feet and also found a problem my dad had with his heart by just checking his feet out. If not for Dr Handy we would not have the time we did with my dad......
Arrived at 9:15, Appt was at 9:30, did not see him until 10:40. He was rushed, no mention of the almost hr wait and in less than 4 mins told me I needed a procedure, hurriedly answered one of my questions, said a pharmacy would call me and was out the door. I had to ask the nurse Gabby (who was fantastic and helpful) what was going on cause I was confused. Dr Handie is a very good Dr. He takes the time to explain what's going on. Unfortunately I didnt follow his orders and had complications. He didnt shame me and corrected the damage I did. If he says dont walk without the boot, then dont walk without the boot.
Dr. Handie is VERY helpful in explaining difficult medical terms. He spends time with me as a patient and is a surgery last doctor! I appreciate that he is not looking to cut every patient he sees. Best course of treatment for me!
Dr. Handie has taken very good care of my daughter and myself. She injured both feet last summer, and I have a joint issue. I was ready to move forward on surgery twice, but he was hesitant because of the risk of re-injury in the near future. I appreciate ANY surgeon who will advise not moving forward with surgery - he took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and get to know my lifestyle to create the best treatment plan for me, when he could have just cut me open and then
