Dr. Star did my hip total replacement. He is truly amazing. I was up and moving right after coming out of anesthesia and from start to finish was only at the surgery center for 5 hours. The entire staff could not be nicer and the aftercare was truly wonderful as well. Best surgery I ever had! Highly recommend him, his office and staff!!!!

Dr. Star knows who you are even after 13 years since my last visit! Communication is clear and direct and love that he summarizes the visit via recording at the conclusion! Thank you for your expertise and professionalism!
Follows a protocol that only uses imaging and not patient's ability to function. Caused harm by not doing surgery resulting in inability to exercise and then developed high cholesterol, heart disease, osteoporosis and reconditioning. Also too full of himself and doesn't listen.
Dr Star is an excellent surgeon. From the beginning, Dr. Star, took the time to fully explain the procedure and every step of the recovery process.
I am so happy with Dr Star and the Rothman group. I had both knees done at the same time. Could not be happier with my results and Dr Star. Back to doing everything I once did. Thank you Dr Star
It is wonderful and very reassuring for me to be under the care of Dr. Andrew Star . From the moment I met him , I knew that I was in good hands as I begin the process to have knee replacements on both knees . I have been a patient with Dr Star for many years.and extremely satisfied with his abilities and knowledge! He first fixed a bimalloer ankle fracture in 2003 for me. He successfully replaced both of my knees and now I am planning to get a hip replacement. I would not choose any other surgeon to do all this for me. I appreciate his friendly compassionate bedside manner. And kudos to him for having the same staff supporting him all these years. Each of them is a shining star!
Dr. Star is an extremely gifted talented doctor. He takes the time to explain things to you and is very patient. His surgical skills are meticulous. I had one hip done with no complications. Hopefully I will get a knee replacement soon.Do not hesitate to use him. You will feel very safe under his care.
