Walk in Float Out Walking in Float Out is there motto and it is soooo true. I had a massage with Jennifer and I fell asleep it was so good. She even let me sleep for while before I woke up on my own.... She was so thorough and caring about my body and my past experiences. She really seemed to love her job ya know? Bad for the Bride! I've been going to Andre Chreky for years for a cut and color. As the price has gone up the service has gone down, and now it is like being in a factory line. Also - I recently went there for a sample updo for my wedding, for which I paid $85 (and then would have paid an additional $175 the day of the wedding). What a horrible experience. Working Girls Gettaway I finally found a great place to get my hair done. I work in the city and have struggled with a few bad places. Then one of my friends recomended Andre Chreky. I instantly FELL IN LOVE with this place. It has a very friendly feel and isn't intimidating. Tracy did my cut and she is adorable. So sweet and and really knowledgable. Disappointing I have blonde hair and had a full head of highlights done by a young female stylist. She did not get close enough to the roots, so the end result was even blonder hair and the dark roots. When I went back for her to redo it, I ended up too blonde for my skin tone. My guy friend has said this is the worst color he has seen on me. On the plus side they do serve you tea and cookies.
Great colorists The Andre Chreky salon in DC is very modern and has experienced stylists and colorists. I see Nigisti here and she is a great colorist. I had color, foil blond highlights done here before and I received endless compliments from strangers. Recommended to anyone who is in DC or suburbs if you are looking for experienced colorists this would be the place to go!
Recommended I don't come here to get my hair cut, but they have so many different services that I can find something there. They do make-up applications, eyebrow waxings, manicures, and pedicures. They arch my brows nicely, and tweeze the stray hairs, and do very nice manicures. I recommend it.
Heavenly pedicures Wonderful pedicures-- a bit pricey but so worth it for a special treat! Also they have good brow waxers (I like Deborah's work). And fantastic hair cuts are to be had if your willing to part with a lot of money.
Wonderful Salon This is an upper-class hair salon, which runs on the more expensive side, but the quality of the work is worth it. Their hair stylists are up-to-date with the current trends and fashions in hair styles and will give you a modern look custom to your facial features and preferences. They use sweet-smelling shampoo, conditioner, and balms that leave my hair so soft and shiny; you can also purchase these products for at-home use. This is a great salon; I wouldn't even think about going elsewhere!
