Found an issue that I was experiencing and Dr. Kelmenson has a recommended treatment. Another issue may be trending and keeping close track of it. Very satisfied with the appointment.

I saw Dr Kelmenson for cataract surgery. I had what she called a “myopic surprise.” That means she chose the wrong lens. I was left with NO distance vision in that eye. Since my other eye had never had distance vision, I was virtually blind. I had second surgery, which unlike the first surgery was painful. The lens was still poorly chosen, worst distance vision I had ever had in that eye. Much worse than before cataract. Dr K thought I should be happy and wear glasses. Never had I worn glasses. Dr. Kelmenson performed cataract surgery on my wife last fall and her experience was great. So far I’m seeing the same.
Dr. Amy is fantastic! She's professional, knowledgeable, experienced, listens well, explains things in a manner I can understand and takes great care of my eyes (not an easy task for sure)! She's a skilled surgeon as well - did an excellent job on my cataracts. However, no matter what time your appointment is you can always expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes. Dr. Kelmenson is very respectful and responsive; she is always willing to answer my questions and she is always sure to explain what she is doing during the appointment and why. She was receptive to my needs and I felt very comfortable around her.
