I saw Dr Kelmenson for cataract surgery. I had what she called a “myopic surprise.” That means she chose the wrong lens. I was left with NO distance vision in that eye. Since my other eye had never had distance vision, I was virtually blind. I had second surgery, which unlike the first surgery was painful. The lens was still poorly chosen, worst distance vision I had ever had in that eye. Much worse than before cataract. Dr K thought I should be happy and wear glasses. Never had I worn glasses.
