went in yesterday to make an appointment for an exam (paid for the 3 yr membership). They have no physician and couldn't tell me when one would be coming. Thanks for wasting my money. I had to go to Stanton Optical who saw me immediately, however I paid $90 for an exam that I had already paid for with America's Best. Tallahassee location ... get it together.

Horrible customer service. Every time I go to the location the wait is over an hour WITH a appointment! My last experience with them was the last straw. I went in for my annual check up and was told I needed to switch to a different type of contact lens which was double the price as my old one! & I loved my old brand. After telling the doctor I wanted to stick with my old brand he said that wouldn't be an issue that he would write my old brand on the prescription as well. I took the day off work to celebrate my birthday. I ended up near americas best and decided to take care of my annual exam. They said they were doing walk ins, took my contact info, and then left me in the waiting room for 2 hours. As a walk in, I figured I would have to wait a little longer, but after 2 hours, I decided to see how much longer. Turns out they never pulled my file and forgot about me. The only reason I am giving a 1... is for the poor customer service. The day I got my exam, the dr went to lunch could not get my written prescription. Went back 2 days later... dr. On lunch , called. Dr on lunch but prescription will be ready at end of day. Just came today the next day and the person did not turn in for dr to do and of course dr is on lunch. Do they ever work and does anyone do their job. Very frustrating. I will go back to visionworks.
I went to another place before this one and had a horrible experience! I then came to America's Best. Thank goodness I did! They got the prescription right and I love my glasses. They are extremely professional and friendly. I highly recommend them. Thank you America's Best Tallahassee.
Dr was ok - staff was inattentive during 1st visit - 1/2 hr turned in 2 hrs till I walked out (even with an appointment). I’m picking up today and only 1 person can give you your glasses - and he has been on the phone with a customer for the past 25 minutes. There are 2 people ahead of me There are 7 employees in the store, 4 customers Hmmm and no one else can hand me my glasses This will be my last time here
