Horrible company. Waited 14 months from service date to text me saying I owed 1404.92.They claimed that my insurance denied the claim.i contacted my insurance to ask about it.come to find out they have never billed my insurance.I was on the phone with them for a total of over 2 hrs.I could barely understand the person I was speaking to,her English was horrible.My insurance contacted them and they proceeded to tell my insurance that I could just disregard the bill I call them back again just to be on the safe side and I end u... read more

I received a bill for $1200.00 for a 2-mile trip to the *** I had no choice for transport as AMR is contracted with local services. I continually get emails and paper bills saying there is a problem with my insurance. I've called them 5 times to give correct insurance info and they keep telling me they are told I had no coverage on the date of service...which is false! I even had the rep from my insurance company join a 3-way call with AMR to verify coverage and other info, but still continue to get bills and emails saying I... read more

The word PREDATORY comes to mind. Billed $2400 for what was less than a mile ambulance ride. They repeatedly called me saying I never provided my insurance company information. I repeatedly provided said information each time. Then they waited for over a year to contact me, again saying I owed because I never provided my insurance details. I again responded that I provided the information. Now 9 years (9!!!) they called me again saying I would be sent to collections if I don't pay. NEVER, EVER use this service!!!! We waited 3 hours for a simple transport. Once they arrived they were unprofessional, uncaring and not trained and almost laughable,. if it werent such a serious situation They immediately called the local fire **** to move a 57 man who weighed 150 lbs. they said they were not cable of moving him!!! On 8/25/22 we called an ambulance for my mom because she was passing a lot of blood in her stool and every time she stood up she would get dizzy and have a panic attack . The EMTs for AMR were very rude , they insisted my mom walk to the stretcher they left outside for some reason , wouldnt even try to bring it in the house and when she told them if she stands up she gets dizzy and starts to hyper ventilate one of them snapped at her and said well you can control that just breathe . Verbally abusive staff bullied me and yelled at me all the way to the hospital while i was having a possible second stroke in a 2week period. I was crying when i got tot the ** Horrible experience I am afraid to call for an ambulance now because of the abuse I endured during my transport with AMR

I give the two stars because of the quick response. My name is ***** I was sick last month had to call an ambulance to the hospital, which I regretted. I had a bad experience while I was in the ambulance on our way to the hospital. They bulled me really bad. One of them started: Are you an alcoholic *****? I got a 10 mile ambulance ride. No sirens used, no medical care applied whatsoever. They are charging $2300 and not engaging with my insurance company, UHC, when they call to negotiate. They tell me they dont have my email or cell number on file but Ive received over a dozen texts and emails. Customer ********************** representatives are hostile and unhelpful. This company is just an excuse to capitalize on the broken American health care system and is highly predatory. Emergency services would be much improved if this... read more
