Dr. Gilbert refused to fill out forms I had a scheduled appointment for to do so. He advised it would be $200 per form, which no one said over the phone. Turns out the woman who made the appointment was "new" and yet somehow it was still my fault. He was condescending, dismissive, and didn't listen to a word I said. Told me to see another doctor and ripped up my form to my face. Then the office still had the gall to bill me this "appointment". Do not go here!

He is unprofessional and rude, he yells at people for no reason, is mean and does not give clear recommendations. He lacks empathy and is conceited too. Would never recommend him to anyone.

Very knowledgeable. Kind and caring. Takes time to patiently answer my questions and always pauses to be sure i understand. Expect to wait as office is not organized the greatest. I saw another much larger and well known neuro group for years and they didn’t figure me out, neither did the emergency room. Dr Gilbert does eegs in office and reads them himself. Thanks to him I am seizure free for 4 years

We have not had a good experience with dr gilbert! We were waiting for test results and he went on vacation without giving us the courtesy of letting us know he was going on vacation! This was rude and disrespectful!!!!

Office staff is BRUTAL! Was sent to collections 15 months after I saw this doctor at Beaumont ER. Paid the bill immediately. Had to send proof of payment and all I got was "sorry"! Now I am getting harassing letters from collection agencies. When I call and leave messages no one cares or calls back. Called today, which is my 5th time calling to get this nightmare resolved. How can a doctors office operate like this?!?!?! CRAZY!!!!

When I went to his office, he spent the first 10 minutes of my appointment telling me I was overweight (like I didn't know) and that I should eat salads with no dressing to lose weight. The entire time he was doing the EMG, he had one eye on his watch. After trying PT which make my symptoms worse, I had the MRI which revealed arthritis. That was his diagnosis! Didn't help the numbness in my feet or hands one bit! He wouldn't talk to me on the phone, said I need to make an appt. Never again!

This Dr has zero compassion!!! My husband went in for open heart surgery. The staff believed he was going thru alcohol withdrawal ( which turned out to be sepsis) because he was a beer drinker. Upon the death of my husband this so called Dr. came into ICU to see him. I and other family members were sitting with my deceased husband. Dr. Gilbert proceeded to lecture me on the effects of alcohol on the body. Are you kidding me! I just tragically lost my husband of 35 yrs!!!!!!
