Window sticker stated seats are leather on my 2021 Ridgeline RTL-E. Called Honda several times & was blown off.
I bought a new Honda CRV in 2018. Last year. I took it in to a Honda dealership- Honda of Valley Stream NY for oil service. With their poor and careless service, they added in double the amount of oil into the engine that was required. Honda sold my uncle a brand new Odyssey which after only XXXXX miles has paint peeling off multiple areas of the vehicle as well as a dysfunctional clear coat. They never contacted him regarding service bulletins or for any of 2 recalls. When my elderly uncle could not leave the house due to medical comorbidities and a raging pandemic, Honda refused to extend their repair and recall period. I purchased my 2021 honda accord back in February from sport honda in silver spring. A couple weeks after getting it i had side swiped the curb. Since i had paid for the tire protection plan when i bought the car, so i thought i would schedule an appointment to take it back to get the rim repaired. Scheduling an appointment at Sport Honda was not easy because you constantly got transferred or was asked to leave a voice mail and they would get back to you but never would. When I purchased the new 2018 Honda Pilot in June 2018 from Victory Honda Sandusky, OH, I noticed that the hood vibrated excessively at highway speed. I brought it to the attention of the dealership the day after purchase and again at the first oil change. Both times I was informed that due to the lighter metals used in the hood to save weight, the vibration was normal. Customer service is almost non-existent with this company. My car was financed through Honda Financial and when I moved out of state, the DMV in my new state required the lien-holder to sign off on some paperwork, proving that I indeed, was the person financing the vehicle. I sent the paperwork after filling out my section asking that the section for Honda be completed and returned to my new state's DMV office, with my personal check attached for the DMV fees. Beware! Honda Customer Service has taken a nosedive! Note that I have driven Hondas since 1989, and never intended to buy another brand. This post is in regards to the 2014 CRV I bought in 2018. The Sunday after Thanksgiving 2020 the battery was dead. My neighbor brought his charger over and charged the battery so I could get into town and purchase a new battery. I'm the unfortunate owner of the Honda 2017 CRV and I live in PA. I bought it new in October 2107. I noticed high oil levels and petrol mixing with the engine oil along with strong petrol smell in the cabin. There have been oil leaks. Many things like fuel injectors and other maintenance needed due to faulty engine hardware and cheap materials used in the engine.
