I bought 2017 brand new Civic and the A/C compressor broke down in 2021 summer, i.e. my car A/C compressor only lasts 4 years. The car A/C compressor should last 10 years, at least, or more. I contacted the company to request reimbursing the repair cost ($1762.50) but got denied. This is an obvious defect product.
I sent a letter, by mail, to ask for reimbursement for a part and labor for a known issue with the make and model of my car, Honda Insight 2012. It took 3 months of my phoning to ask if it was received. Finally, I got a call back to tell me to submit the information online. A claims representative asked me to send copies of the work done along with invoices and credit card statements. I complied-on the very specific e-mail address-that they advised must be replied to. I asked if my letter would be attached to the claim, sinc... read more
Honda Customer Service is Terrible. The service quote from the local Honda dealership for Horrible. Imagine washing your 2011 Honda Pilot with a standard garden hose and paint flies off your passenger **** fender. That's what happened a few months ago and sense then, trying to get the paint fixed has proven to be a nightmare. I first called Honda Customer Service and they indicated that my warranty was up and that they could not cover the paint defect. Note: Taffeta White was a color that has had a history of problems. If I could give zero stars I would. For years I dreamed of having a Honda because I thought they were well made vehicles. As a mom, I decided it was time to invest in a minivan. I couldn't afford a brand new one, so I purchased one that was a few years old. Two days later the 2nd cylinder misfires. My mechanic printed out a service bulletin that said there was an 8 year extended warranty for this engine misfiring issue. I took my van to a local dealer and they wouldn't even look it over because my mechanic had changed the 2n... read more
DO NOT buy Honda. Because of all the good things we heard about Hondas going 200k miles, we sunk everything into an Odyssey. 65k and it needs engine overhaul for known issue. @HondaInAmerica refuses to do anything to even help us w $4000 repair. Before buying a Honda, Google "misfiring," and "class action settlement," to have your eyes opened to ongoing manufacturing defects that Honda will do nothing about. Millions left with no options but spending thousands on pistons, valves, coils etc
I strongly believe this company is completely dishonest and unresponsable for their own mistakes when dealing with recalls and faulty transmission parts. My 2015 civic EX-L transmission broke down on me while drining on the freeway. My car was towed back to the dealer where, I purch the car and was diagnosed with code p1890 CVT speed control system failed. A total loss of the transmission. I kept all the scheduled maintenance on time, however the transmission failed to last more than 150k miles. i had the dealer install a us... read more
Brand new car. Broke down and Honda admitted it's there fault. But is refusing to give me a loaner even though it's under warranty and they're being extremely nasty and unreachable.
We own a 2017 Honda Pilot with very little mileage on it. While we've been fairly happy with the actual car, our experience trying to get a few minor issues fixed this summer has been an absolute joke! Back in June we brought the car in because the ac needed a service and we had a issue with the gas lid opening. Of course the service people at Honda of Hollywood where we brought it, came back with a whole list of issues after their initial checkup. Long story short, it took them forever to actually do the work and our car wa... read more
In early September of 2021, our family Honda Odyssey (2016, 75,000 miles, well taken care of) broke down on a trip up North. We needed to have it towed, and brought to the Wilde Honda dealership. Communication during the following couple of days was very poor - I needed to call the dealership myself and ask for updates. After several calls, it turned out the issue was with the car's piston rings. The dealership called me back to inform me that to fix this issue it would cost $3,500. This seemed extremely odd to me - the car ... read more
