So disappointed in the price increase for the CPR Heartsaver cards to $17 each.

By increasing the cost of the card from $5 to $20, it has become cost prohibitive for many to become certified in CPR. I work for a fire protection district that offers CPR and First Aid training every month for the community. The Fire Chief would like to see any many of our citizens certified in CPR as you never know when you may have the opportunity to help save someone's life. There is no charge for the class, only the cost of the card. We live in an area where $20 is still a lot of money and the increased cost is now det... read more

Please DO NOT take health/diet advice from this group (or the government). Whatever they tell you to do - do the complete opposite and you'll be healthy! They're bought and paid for by big pharma and the companies that pay to put their little "heart healthy" logo on their processed "food." Eat real food and ignore these nitwits.

Shame on you guys for raising the prices of completion cards and making Heartsaver Cpr now unaffordable to many people. I never thought AHA would be greedy like this and quite frankly it's pretty disappointing. You have an overwhelming amount of negativity across the country by doing what you've done.

I used to think the AHA was all about helping people help themselves, however, your ridiculous increase in the cost of Heartsaver CPR cards changed my opinion. If I could give a -1 star, I would. Your lack of transparency in your card increase is unacceptable. The American Heart Association is giving the appearance of it is all about the money. Welcome to the corporate for profit world. What you have not taken into consideration is the 1000s and 1000s of people who only need to renew their cards. They already have books. Sha... read more
