I don't remember recommend them because their interest is not the kids and they funnel money to politicians after involuntarily taking the money from teachers paychecks
Lost sight of their purpose and the needs of all rank in file members. There are plenty of political action committees already, please stop the mission creep.

The AFT is MILITANT and everyone in the school districts know it. I was a member for many years and am a retired teacher member-at-large.
Love that if I need to have legal representation I can call and I dont have to worry about a conflict of interest. Support the teachers!

I am not a teacher.i am a parent,now grandparent of intelligent,engaged children who received and achieved successes after being taught by wonderful fully engaged and kind professional teachers. As a society we have high expectations of literacy,civic responsibility and critical thinking affording the support, pay and professional respect to those choose the noble teaching profession. Teachers need the protection and salary by a professional group focused on the safeguards to insure professional Starla’s and compensation.
I get free college through this union. It's so great!
