Having been a member of the AFT during my teaching career I had many years with the protection of the collective energy of all the teachers in our school district.......Mount Pleasant School District, San Jose California. If you disbanded and left the country now. If you shut down your corrupt unions and stopped teaching children your socialist/communist agenda. If you backed charter and private schools and admitted that government schools are an epic failed experiment.Did I answer the question?
You are a terrorist organization that is keeping the kids in America dumb. What has this Organization done that actually helps to keep children safe or done to help the children of America smarter? Every thing you do is for teachers not students. You pretend to care about kids but you wont fire bad Teachers your Union is a waste of money.
I am a registered Republican, an educator, and an officer with my local AFT. What AFT has done for me both professionally and personally has given me a renewed sense of purpose. I have to fight every single day for my students and now I fight for my colleagues too! AFT represents everyone in the education field! We are an organization of many kinds of people with many different views. What we all have in common is children!
Reliable , truthful , timely, and accurate. Always in support of Education.
Teachers work is grueling. Unfortunately they need the suport of AFT to get what they deserve.
