The AFT under idiot Weingarten doesn't need members. The elites make the decisions without input. I quit after this second time where they refused to have members VOTE on endorsements. And had fake "phone town halls" just like elites do, so the peons can pretend they got to participate. I'm done, after being a union member my entire life. They didn't have to endorse only the candidate who represents the 99% and can beat Trump - but they needed to let us decide.
