We bought a bed at AFD and were led to believe that if we didnt like it we could return it less a 25% stocking fee. One hour after delivery and set up, we realized the bed would not work out in our bedroom, so we contacted the salesperson to advise we did not want the bed. She told us that we could swap for something we liked and they would waive restocking fee. We did not find anything to swap. They refused to gives a refund. My husband & I purchased a new living room complete with end tables, sectional & cocktail table. Each item that was delivered was damaged and had to be sent back and replaced. My wife and I bought a couch on 11/16/2019 from American Factory Direct. With the couch, we bought a 5-year warranty. On 6/28/2021 we made a claim with one of the attached recliners. The tech came out to fix the problem and had to order parts. We have been waiting on parts for almost a year now. We have contacted AFD Approx. every two months since then but the answer is always the same, they are waiting on parts. Horrible customer service! We received our delivery on February 26th. When they finished setting up my king *** I told the delivery guys the *** wasnt sturdy. They told me theres nothing they can do. I then made a claim with the company. The service department came out and made the *** worse. We decided to return the *** and was told we will have to pay a 25% restocking fee. As of today, we still have not received anything. Each time I call to find out more info. re: status, I'm told my salesperson has to call me back and I never receive that call. I bought a loveseat from American factory direct back in November of 2021, they said it could take up to six months to get it, to my surprise it was delivered feb.3rd 22 well it power reclines something was wrong from ver beginning the chairs weren't reclining right, the delivery people didnt even sat in them to try them out, well I called warranty dept.they haven't been fixed yet!!! We began this saga in September of '21 and it has nothing to do with Covid. Yes, we understand shipping delays because of it but that is not our issue. It is that we have dealt with 3 purchases and and 3 faulty deliveries whether they be wrong items or damaged. It is now nearly March and to top it off, they over charged us for a mattress, sent us 1/2 of the wrong mattress (another story) and still owe us $400+ dollars for that which they say we can use as a credit b/c they won't "refund" even though it was their error.
