Best prices and great service – American Carpets has the best selection and prices around. They have a full-time customer service department, dedicated to satisfying customers. I have had many excellent experiences with them and so have many of my friends. They have won the readers choice award for 6 years in a row. I highly recommend this company.

Bad customer service and contract. – I had recently purchased about $2700 in carpet from American carpets. I returned the next week to purchase laminate floor for two large rooms. I picked out real wood and didnt know it until the purchase was completeing. I was ensured this would be better, even after I told the saleperson that my husband and I would install it ourselves (first timers). I took it home and my husband informed me we could not put it down due to skill needed and the construction of the floorboards in our home.... read more

ALL Talk, NO Action – I have 3 rental homes in Mobile. Recently I had a tenant move out after five years in the same house. I was recommended to go to American carpets. I think more because of all the advertising. My wife handled it because I work out of town. She was told it would be installed Thursday. It was not. She contacted the Manager at the Beltline store.
