Will never use this company again! Had cabinets installed. No follow up and extremely poor installation. Took over a month to get job completed and then had to call others to complete job. Existing cabinets just ripped out causing damage to walls and ceiling. Would not recommend American carpets work! Seems like nobody in charge..just want your money
No after the sale service! Dishonest! – This company is terrible. Will never ever by from them again. We have remodeled many homes and have installed many types of flooring. Our salesman misrepresented their wood flooring product which we paid over $3,000 for . Because it was "special order" no refund would be given. He lied to us, would not even swap for the correct type of wood flooring (which I specifically asked for initially) and offered no help after the sale. Good Service, Good Price, Good Install – We had hardwood installed in our home. The whole process of meeting with Rob Williams inside, finding what we want, negotiating a price and all the way through the installation went smoothly. Their installer, Chris, was a hard worker who stayed with the job even up to 9:30 PM one night to get it finished. We were very impressed. We went with the bamboo floating hardwood and so far have been very satisfied with the look and quality of the wood.
American Carpets was Great – Had a wonderful time with my saleperson picking out my carpet. He help me to understand the different types of carpet and what would work best for my household. When installation started they were on time and very courteous. They cleaned up their mess and were on their way. I would use them again.
American Carpets make money giving people the shaft – My husband and I bought hardwood flooring from American Carpets in July 2008. In February 2009 it began to seperate along the boards in the middle of our floor. When we signed our contract with them we were under the impression that the flooring would be glued to our slab. Instead they wrote the contract to float the floor. Their installers left alot to be desired. Number 1 service in flooring! – I am a rental manager in the gulf shores area i was giving the task of finding a local flooring dealer to service our units. A friend recomended i go see shannon williams at american carpets so i did. The service was great he made it so easy for a task i had really not looked forward to. I enjoyed his company and the service was bar none the best,. If you have any flooring needs i would not shop anywhere else!!
Great customer service – I have made four separate purchases from American Carpets of the past nine years and have been very pleased with each one. I have had them install the product (carpet) on several occasions and have purchased tile and related material from them and installed it myself. I have shopped at other flooring stores, including Lowes and Home Depot. American Carpets has always come through with the best price and customer service that other can?t or will not match. Great Experience – I recently purchased tile and carpet from American Carpets and was thrilled with the end-result! The price was the best in town...the installers were timely and careful to keep everything clean. Everything looks GREAT!!! I would most definitely recommend them to anyone needing new flooring!
Great pricing and exceptional service – I was extremely happy with my American Carpets experience. I installed my own flooring and i had a few hiccups. The staff at american carpets was a very helpful and knowledgeable resource to help me get the job done. They went out of their way to make sure i was taken care of. I would recommend their services to anyone.
