The AARC has decided that therapists can be replaced by a 2 hour class. The years I have dedicated to this profession apparently were a waste of time.

Thank you for stabbing us in the back and out sourcing ventilator management to non respiratory THERAPIST. What do we pay you dues for??? Can't wait to see the DISASTER this causes. Hitting the silence button doesn't fix the issue, you might wanna mention that to your non essential vent users. RIDICULOUS

This organization is all about stuffing there pockets and not helping or protecting the therapists. They in no way even try and promote the profession and have managed to keep us from getting the recognition we so badly deserve!

You have left your people ‘breathless’ by your decision to sub- train people during this pandemic.... maybe you should’ve stuck up for us before this happened in reference to the huge money we pay to stay in this field! SHAME on YOU!!!! Would you be comfortable with yourself or loved ones on a ventilator with these people you are going to make take a little computer game? YOU have signed our death certificates as rrt’s.....

The AARC has basically said my years of education can be learned in mere hours. This organization does not have RT’s best interest at heart.
