Thanks for setting our profession back into the Dark Ages. What a load of crap for an org that is supposed to have OUR backs. 🙄
Supporting RT's and not turning our specialty over to RN's. Refund all past dues and de-classify as an org representing RT's
I disagree with any online training that is not accompanied by hands on training, labs and apprenticeship training with well trained experienced people. My wife is a retired RT. The hospitals already do not pay enough for the trade. Saturate the market and it will be even less. But here’s a thought. I drive a tractor trailer that at some days weighs 120,000#. Would you want us doing online courses?!Just a thought....just as dangerous!
What do you do for this profession exactly? Because backing us doesn't appear to be it.
During this pandemic, the AARC SHOULD be promoting our profession.
The people that matter are here. If you have surgical masks, why not use them with elastic straps? My data shows it makes a big difference! Check out my technical paper please and stay safe with these simple recommendations. https://drive.google.com/…/1UCkAGFB0tuQ3ssYSkFc3V4Hn4…/view…
Membership dues are paid so you can be the voice for RTs. Your job is to advocate for us. Tell me, AARC, do you think that the ventilator course you made was for our benefit? There were many more avenues that could've been explored before it came to this. I am so shocked, disappointed, and disgusted with your organization. Get ready to lose lots of members.
I cannot, in good faith, recommend an entity who has literally pummeled into its members at every state conference I’ve attended for 25 years to support them and put our trust and faith in them so that our profession will be better served and represented, then to turn on a dime educating non-clinical persons in performing our necessary jobs. No thank you, AARC.
The AARC doesnt work to support the Profession of Respiratory Care
