In March of 2010 a company named Wolfgang, Inc. purchased Amedeos. The corporation is lead by President David Harris. The company has continued with the same DeAngelis family recipes and have added new Italian dishes to the menu. Amedeos continues to support NCSU and remains a Raleigh Wolfpack Tradition. After extensive upgrading of the kitchen and bathrooms, remodeling the bar to include several large screen TVs and touching up the dining rooms, Amedeo's reopened in early March. In January 2011, David and Jill DeAngelis Par... read more

Asked for the bill and they never brought it so we walked out. – I have been eating at Amedeo's for years. Used to go there several times a month in college. I moved back to the area and took my small daguther last weekend. The service has gone downhill. I waited about 15 minutes until two tables seated after us had their orders taken, then had to ask a waitress to find someone to take our order. The girl seemed like she was too cool to take our order. Once she put it in our food came out pretty fast, but the waitress never ... read more
A family-owned Italian favorite that has been an NC State tradition for years. – In Short This Italian gem knows how to cater to customers: Budget-minded students love the reasonable prices and unpretentious atmosphere while locals keep coming back for the baked ziti, cheesecake and cannoli. Pizza is also a hit--the homemade crust and unique toppings win over diners who crave variety. There's no question where loyalties lie here--the decor features plenty of Wolfpack kitsch, but the food is tasty enough to distract even the ... read more
From salad dressings to pizza to pasta – Having been in the service industry, the reviews of waiting are probably not exact (15 minutes= 1hour). However, the rating is not based solely on service, but also the food. The food at this restaurant is very good, and for the price (in Raleigh), you will probably do no better. This is the Wolfpack pre- and post-game spot, so look nowhere else. Expect a wait when a wait is expected (game-time, although fairly minimal considering the number of customers), and Friday and Saturday even... read more
Excellent pasta – Great and fast service. I swear it is the best blue cheese salad dressing I've ever tasted and I am very critical about my blue cheese. The pasta is out of this world.
Great Food – Amedeos has great food and dessert. It's worth the wait. Sometimes the waitstaff takes a little while to refill your drink, but they are always polite. The restaurant side by the bathrooms can be cold, so I recommend trying to sit on the main side. I love this restaurant's food. I recommend it.
Service PLEASE – Waited FOREVER for wait staff, and no one else wanted to even take our drink order. And that's how it was the rest of the night.
Nice Family Resturant – I have been going here for 25 years. I LOVE IT! It is a great place to meet as a group, to have a birthday party, and to bring your kids. The staff has always been great. If you are looking for a fun place go there and is very affordable. If you are looking for a romanitc setting it is the not to place to go
Great Little Restaurant – Amedeo's is a great restaurant. I have been eating there for over 5 years now and the food is consistently good. I would highly recommend the baked ziti! If you are looking for fine dining, this isn't it. The restaurant is NC State themed and casual dining. It is normally pretty busy but I have never waited longer then 10 minutes or so. If you are a pack fan or just fan of italian food, be sure to check it out. And by the way, I think the food is very reasonably priced!
Fantastic Food! – Since I have graduated from State and moved out of town, I make Amedeo's a top priority every time I come back to the area. Amedeo's has the best pizza - try it with Canadian Bacon and Artichoke hearts. They don't charge extra for "gourmet" toppings like some shroomy chains do!
Amedeo's Italian Restaurant has a 4.4 star rating with 2,518 reviews.
