In March of 2010 a company named Wolfgang, Inc. purchased Amedeos. The corporation is lead by President David Harris. The company has continued with the same DeAngelis family recipes and have added new Italian dishes to the menu. Amedeos continues to support NCSU and remains a Raleigh Wolfpack Tradition. AWESOME !!! – My family and I LOVE this place their pizza and pasta is the best !!! I prefer to go here rather than any other italian place !!
The last 2 Reviews are a joke! – The last 2 reviews are seriously unbelievable and obviously from someone within. We went in this past week because I had heard an old co-worker of mine was now running the restaurant. My thoughts were confirmed and we have been going there since I was a little girl and because of what I saw, I will never take my family back into that place. One more thing... – The only reason they are doing "kids eat free" and a magician is because they are that desperate for business. The "classic-rock" band they are referring to completely wiped the bar out last weekend b/c they had them set-up to play during the NC State football game, they blocked the entire TV and patrons walked out just as quickly as they did in...and I was there to witness it. Couldn't agree more with Wolfpacker1 – Let me start off by saying I am one of the owners sons best childhood friend and the reviews below "wolfpacker" are fake! I will swear on my life that is part of the "new management" that is making up those ridiculous reviews of that restaurant. Amedeo's Response – It is a sad day when a Raleigh landmark has been reduced to he said, she said reviews on an internet site. Amedeo's has been an incredible establishment for over 40 years. The food is awesome and the memories that the restaurant holds for many people are irreplaceable.
Confirming the reviews – I was just looking through random reviews b/c its my line of work and I just wanted to comment. I have no affiliation with the restaurant or know anyone working there but I will confirm that the person that stated the new manager has been fired from his previous 2 jobs is CORRECT. He also tells people he ran the establishments when he was in fact a "bouncer" that got fired once for being lazy and from the other job for stealing. LOVE Amedeos! – I'm shocked at some of the negative reviews I've read here. I'm only been going to Amedos for about 4 1/2 years and I can tell you that, yes I have noticed some changes...but none of them have been negative. I have two daughters and we go there on Monday nights because they have FREE meals for kids...and they also have a magician that my 5-year old looks forward to seeing every week. Our last time at this dump – My wife and I have been going to Amedeo's since we were students at NC State. Unfortunately the place has gone downhill over the past few years but we remained faithful patrons. We went in for dinner in the bar last weekend and were horrified at the service and food. The staff in the bar is unprofessional, rude and borderline trashy.
