Superb Doctors/ Best Staff In TX This clinic is fantastic for the special needs of our toy/ show dogs. The entire staff always has a cheerful in all weathers/ can-do attitude. We've been using this clinic for years and the one constant is their compassion for animals. Their unique ability to accept walk-ins is a huge advantage for us. Jane Martenson
Dr. Coakley as the Dog Whisperer:) My beloved best friend, Roscoe passed Jan. 22nd, 2009. He was a 130lb Cane Corso, an Italian Mastiff. He was 9 years old. And that was 9 yrs of loyalty, protection, love, comfort, and hilarious, action packed fun. Roscoe had an incredible personality. He also weighed more than me and was quite a handful, to say the least. It was truly a remarkable relationship. Unfortunately his life came to an end with bone cancer. Very Pleased!!! We have been very pleased with Alvarado Veterinary Clinic. We started using them when we moved about 3 years ago from Dallas and our previous vet was too far away. We've taken our dogs and cats there on several occasions. I even met one doctor after hours because my goats twin #2 was breach. He was very good and encouraging during the process. satisfied I have used the alvarado vet clinic a couple times, but my family has been going there for years and we've never had a problem. Of course i've had to wait longer then i wanted, but that happens every where. As for the staff up front, they are only knowledged to do certain tasks, so dont get angry at them. I will continue to go there and recommend others to do so also
Best In Show My family has used this clinic for more than 17 years now. The vets are awesome and the staff excellent. They were more than sympathetic when we found out that our beloved dog had heart worms. They saw us through the whole ordeal and made us feel like family. They have a very caring staff who seem to have unending patience . I found that the stellar reputation of this facility and it's staff is widespread. I highly recommend this establishment!Keep it up Bud, Steve, Paul Kevin and Denise!
Used To Be Excellent but now, ? Depending on the doctor you get, depends on the quality of care differece. Since my last visit I will never use this clinic again. My dogs showed positive for heartworms which, I would have never been notified about if I had not made an inquiry on the status. I'm stll waiting on a phone call. They have lost my business for good, Bud, you need to reevaluate your help.!!
Years of service... My family has used Alvarado Vet Clinic for our small family operated equine business, family dogs and cats for 11+ years. We have had good service for the most part, but were more satisfied with our equine services when the clinic had fewer vets on hand. We have had several horses misdiagnosed in the past 2 years that ended in one having hoof problems that have taken over a year to resolve, and another in death. They are the best! I love this clinic. They have been very helpful and treat my animals like little babies. I recommend them every chance I get when someone asks for a good vet.
