Amazing Vets I have gone to this vet for years. They are the only vets i trust with my show dogs. For those whose say it is to long to wait tell that to your animal who is getting the best care. They are the best and will always be my favorite. They do so much good and God Bless them for it.
Great vet They have taken care of my animals for a while now and i will never go anywhere else. They are good docs and always care for their animal patients. They are kind and help out when they can.
You get what you pay for... The person who first told me about Alvarado told me that they're cheap and ok to use for simple stuff, but not to use them for anything serious. I used Alvarado several times for routine, simple procedures with my horses because of the low cost, and even then it was obvious that you get what you pay for. They screwed up the dental care, breeding, and lameness diagnoses and both times they stitched for me all of their stitches blew in the first week. The support staff is terrible. Great place I have been with Alvarado Vet Clinic for over 15 years. I have 60 horses, several dogs, a parrot, and cats. I would not go elswhere. Dr. Mariah, Dr. Kevin, Dr. Bud, Dr. Paul, and Dr. Steve have all be great to and with my animals. Before I used them, I was using a vet in Cedar Hill and had an emergency and he could not come, I called Alvarado as I had a mare with a bad presentation of a foal, they showed up promply, helped with the birthing, They had my business after that and have been pleased with all the vets ... read more
Very caring Vets, Very reasonable prices! I found out about this vet in 2002 from a friend of mine that owned a horse ranch. I have been using them ever since. The times I have been to their office, the vets and staff have been wonderful. The girls at the desk are always busy, but any time I call they are very knowledgeable, and if a call back is requested, the Vet always calls back in a timely manner. Karen Sandvold I was one of the first patients when Bud opened the clinic and have been going there ever since. I have always been pleased with their service and successful treatments. What more can I say? They saved the lives of two of my dogs when another vet nearly killed them. They also respect the opinions of their customers - which is very rare among vets. Alvarado Veterinary Clinic is This clinic is fantastic! The vets there are very knowledgeable, especially Dr. Vaughan. He is so smart and compassionate. They provide a service that doesn't compare to other clinics. Someone is available 24 hours a day. Great prices and service.
Great experiences Alvarado Vet clinic consists of 13 Veterinarians, it is a very large and clean hospital. Recomendation very HIGH would recomend using night or day. Great emergency and patient care, boarding facilities are wonderful.
Kennel Cough at the Alvarado Vet I got my female dog fixed, and a week later she started coughing so we took her back and she was diagnosed with Kennel Cough which the Vet said she contracted there at their hospital. I was charged for her medicine and when I called to speak with Dr. Vaughn he would not give me a answer why I wasn't told of the outbreak when I dropped my dog off to get her fixed, instead his response was" I'm not obligated to let anyone know, you come to this vet at your own risk."
