This is a terrible branch of aloft, do not go here, the staff are incredibly rude and dismissive. Never going back.

Shame on you for how you treated my comrade during Pride month! The security guard at the pool told them he "got a complaint" about two women being affectionate in the pool and the guest that complained didn't think it was appropriate for their children to see. He said since a guest complained and was not comfortable with them being "visibly gay" they would have to leave. The infraction? RecommendedThe Aloft is in a great location and the staff is friendly and helpful. Shuttle available and train is close by too. Perks are good. The street side rooms are a little noisy.
Great downtown location. Unique vibe. Friendly staff. If you need to sleep, request a room away from the street on the weekends, that is my one recommendation. It was a bit noisy in our room. Even on a Saturday, there was plenty of street parking. Just make sure to feed your meter! Or use one of the parking garages. We got a spot close enough to the hotel that seemed more convenient than going to a parking garage. Every person working at the hotel was courteous, helpful and friendly.
