Probably the best place in Des Moines to get tested!
Beat allergy place in my opinion. Super nice friendly staff.
Brought my 16 month old for allergy testing. Was told she has a peanut and all tree nut allergy. However, was told she did not need an epipen (I was shocked to say the least). I had to press for information on this allergy. No safety plan. I was told just to have her not ingest food with peanuts or tree nuts and she would be okay and "should" be okay if there are peanuts/tree nuts in the environment. I wasn't okay with this advice. So, I went to her pediatrician instead.
I recently visited the Allergy Institute, and I had an excellent experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made the entire process smooth and comfortable.
