Dr.McDonald seems to be a great guy,along with Dr.York.Am returning to Peachtree Ortho.after over 50 yrs since my first visit.Great group,much better than some 'chain' orthos.Also thanks to the late Joseph H Dimon,.my original surgeon at P.O.C.
I went in with a very painful hip, and was administered a pain injection. The injection was very painful, and it didn't help me at all. So hopefully we can come up with something else. He is a great Dr. and I felt very good about the visit. The staff was very courteous and nice, and the office is very comfortable. I'm sure I will be making another appointment soon, because I know the medicine needs a little time to work, but if it doesn't, I hope that I can get a hip replacement for this pain. Office is efficient. Called and seen same day after labor day. Expectedchaos but that wasnt the case. Dr. McDonald took time to ask questions, listened and explained condition. Staff was friendly and thorough despite a long day.

Dr. McDonald is a great and skilled surgeon. He performed my hip replacement surgery and gave me back my life. He is pleasant and listens to your problems to figure out the best treatment. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a hip replacement.
In addition to his expert surgical skills, Dr. McDonald has a caring, listening attitude. I am most grateful for the time he spent asking all my questions following surgery. I know I was treated by one of the best orthopedic surgeons and am eager for others to hear and, if necessary, have the opportunity to receive his care.
I had taken a fall landing on my left Hip. I was referred to Dr. Allan McDonald. Peachtree Orthopaedic was not a stranger to me. Dr. McDonald asked questions and showed concerns for my situation. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and a caring person.
Dr McDonald was very personable and spent a generous amount of time with me explaining my options. He answered all my questions and together we made a plan of care to improve my mobility in order to return to a more active life style.
Confirmed my suspicions that I need a hip replacement.
