For the most part I'm satisfied but the stones were covered with grass, leaves, mud puddles making it very hard to find my loved ones. It was dark by time I found the last one. The gatekeeper asked me if I needed more time & I told him I wanted to find my last one & I knew the area so it shouldn't be long. He said he'd come back to make sure I was gone so he didn't lock me in the cemetery. Been conning here since I was a child. I'm a lover of cemeteries and this is one of my favorites!
This is a cemetery in the heart of Lawrenceville. It is very well kept and I am proud it is a part of Pittsburgh history. I have taken many walks thru the cemetery at various times of the year and encounter many of the animals that call it home. Beautiful in the Fall and Winter months.
I have several members here and when my flesh is done, it's where I want to be!!!!
Pretty amazing place even the rain. I was able to locate the grave of my great, great grandfather and his family. Pretty special.
