During a recent visit to Pittsburgh the staff bent over backwards to point me in the right direction. Not only did they help me find the correct internment section/plot, but I was introduced to a book on Allegheny Cemetery that has a lot of wonderful information and history of the cemetery.

Beautiful, well-maintained grounds, wildlife, interesting history, and a peaceful respite from the busy city outside its gates.

Start with Respect. Not attempting to call it a park with a circus celebration in Sept. Driving people to the impression of public free for all. it will now become a free for all to roam and destroy. I hope they recognize this will cost them more with a picnic function than a dress up respectful recognition celebration of the CEMETERY. Not a circus function.
