This is the absolute worse place to move into. The people living there are not the problem, it is the poor management. I moved in as a second year college student to "grow up" a little. Everyone was so nice and helpful the first month and then everything went downhill. I signed two leases because when I needed to move in, I was told I could only move in with a signed second lease. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, MY WIFE AND I MOVED INTO THE UPTOWN EAST APPARTMENTS ON JULY 21st 2017. OUR FIRST WARNING SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE DAY WE MOVED IN WHEN THE SALES ASSOCIATE INFORMED US THAT OUR NIPSCO WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE AGREED APON PRICE WAS ONLY COVERED UP TO $30.00 PER MONTH AND ON AVERAGE RESIDENTS PAY AROUND $30.00 TO $50.00 OVER WHAT IS SUPPLIED BY THE APPARTMENT. My college-age daughter and I had a terrible experience with one of the Peak Campus properties, the Towers on Franklin in Richmond, VA. She moved into her apartment on January 10, 2018. Due to concerns for her safety, she moved out four days later. When we visited the building on December 16, 2017, I made sure to ask about the security features of the building. i honestly thought it was a great move... the price seemed right. as a single mother on a fixed income. pool was nice location was nice. but even in the most beautiful gardens, there snakes. money hungry soul sucking snakes. the office ladies. **** of liars n they really don't have the tents best interest at heart. long story short, I moved in to hazelwood with a person I thought was my friend n stole my wallet n it contained my rent money n monthly budget money. then roommate n I had a falling out . she called the cops stir... read more

if I could give 0 stars would! DO NOT rent from here! I live in a student housing complex in Columbia, SC and stuff is always broken and it is very unsanitary here!! there is vomit, stains, trash, old food, etc. everywhere!

This company has apartments that partake in ILLEGAL practices. Make sure you know your rights prior to moving in. I know that every review must be taken with a grain of salt. "Only upset people write reviews". So I am going to write a review of the good and bad time I spent there. The first two months I spent there weren't so bad. The price was cheap so I really didn't mind infestations (It was just crickets), rowdy neighbors, or their practical refusal to repair anything. After that, things became worse but bearable. Worst apartment complex ever. I needed and ADA apartment and they placed me in one with three STAIRS. STAIRS. The other entrance had a ramp but they closed the parking lot over there so I did not have access to the ramp. On top of over charging and not fixing anything. My neighbor's pipe burst and ruined my ceiling. I had water dripping in RUINING my carpet and recliner. It was NEVER fixed in the 8 months I lived there then I GOT CHARGED FOR THE CEILING DAMAGE!!!! The management at the Woodlands of College Station is extremely incompetent. When I received my final account statement I noticed my pet deposit was missing, after a month of emails, calls, and even going in, the issue still was not resolved. It was not until we were able to speak to a manager that we learned that the pet deposit had been filed as rent and used and thus I would not receive a pet deposit back. Even though the result was not what i wanted I was just happy to finally be done with this horrible company.

Absolutely horrible experience. The original room that was assigned to my son should not even be considered inhabitable. The toilet was so dirty it wouldn't flush. The shower tub was so filthy you couldn't even see it's bottom. There was rust on the bathroom faucets. Mold and mildew on the walls and ceilings. The bed frame was broken. The carpet so stained you couldn't tell it's original color. All baseboards along the kitchen cabinets were rotted away. His door lock didn't work, neither did the lights.
