Went in for chronic outer ear pain. Took 2 months to get an appointment. Dr insisted that it was an easy fix for around $50. I have insurance but had not met my deductible. I receive a bill in the mail for $325. Includes a nasal endoscopy that did not happen. Like I said, outer ear pain. Completely failed to treat my sinus issues, even after numerous appointments and an invasive sinus procedure. Behaved like a creep during my appointments. Insisted on finishing a very painful procedure on my sinuses even after the local anesthetic failed and I was writhing in agony. But not before announcing that if he gives me any more anesthetic, he will likely make my heart explode because he had already given me so much that my heart rate was sky high. he and his policies for seeing him are appalling. I used to be a patient and so has my daughter. when he was booked up he referred me to Dr. David Martin who I can't even get through to nor can I get through to any other doctor there. all I get is bounced around by various voicemail. totally rude and uncaring. I will find an ENT who is running a normal practice with people who care about their patients and answer their phone.
I finally, could sleep without waking up in the middle of the night feeling suffocating after 10+ years. I went to Dr. Namazie for my inner ear condition. Then, I took advantage of his patient and asked about my nasal septal deviation. He took his time to examine me without making me come another day. He suggested laser surgery. I made an appointment, for surgery. It took less than 45 minutes, and his assistance was very professional and helpful. I was up and already recovered and could breathe at night. I had a lot of drainage, and an ear blockage so bad that I had hearing loss. He examined me and said he couldn't find anything wrong. He said my ear looked quite clear of wax or any other obstruction. Ordered a hearing test, and MRI. Discussed a eustachian tube stint to relieve trapped fluid, and I scheduled the procedure. Dr. Namazie is polite, friendly, funny and always takes good care of me. I have never had any issue with the office staff. Maybe if you give respect you get it? Overall, it is always a smooth experience and I get whatever info / treatment I need and am on my way.
He checked my mouth and nose accurately and found out the problem that my Onchologe and my family doctor and Tarzana hospital Emergency room did not understand. He is very accurate and kind.
He is great. Awsome sense of hummer. Explains everything well and knows what he is doing.
