Dr Safa is the best! Super thorough and knowledgeable. My health was improved dramatically after only two weeks of medication. I would definitely continue to be under his care over the long term.
Dr. Michelle was wonderful. Great first consultation. She explained everything in detail and I was helped right away and felt heard and got the right referral as well.
I completely agree with the frustration surrounding the sudden dropped insurance providers as well as the rude receptionist. I called the office because they provided their billing dept with 2 yr old insurance information, which had since expired. The receptionist tried to tell me that was the last info I provided to them, which is impossible because I visited the practice every 6 mos. I have been seeing Dr Safa since 1995. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I couldn’t sit still, lost hair, dropped weight 2 sizes, hands shook, couldn’t sleep, heavy heartbeat felt in my neck…..etc He gave me a low dose radioactive pill. It worked. But I have no thyroid now so I’m hypothyroid. I see him or his tech yearly, sometimes bloodwork more often. I feel great. I would recommend him.
Dr. Safa’s practice, specifically NP Michele Evans, had three of our family members in their care for over a year now. What an unexpected journey! Not only Michelle provided extraordinary medical care for patients with truly complicated medical histories, but she also consistently thought out of the box when it came to securing insurance approvals for pharmaceuticals, finding ways to address our needs when insurance coverage was an obstacle, and helping us deal with side effects with a holistic approach.
