Your emergency system really sucks. Went to your emergency in Alexius medical center at 2:30 am with my wife who was in a lot of pain after 5 days of her delivery and was told cold bloodedly to wait for 3-4 hrs to be admitted or even checked by a nurse even though wife was in excruciating pain. When I checked your online system it says 5 min average wait time!!!!! That was really a painful experience and for me wouldn't be coming back to this hospital.
I went there for a wellness CHECKUP. Had mentioned some knee pain as well but needed an annual check up. I received the bill in the mail for $160, after insurance coverage, rather than my $10 copay. I contacted the office manager, Dawn, in Poplar Grove who was extremely rude. I let her know that my visit was for a check up. She continued to tell me she couldn't change the code bc I didn't receive a check up bc the only thing the dr did was check my knee. Have been here numerous times for my own and family healthcare needs. Nurses, doctors, pcps have always been attentive and addressed my questions and needs.
Currently in the hospital for my back. The staff has a problem listening to what I have to say. If I say I'm in pain don't move me like that, they continue to do so... They also treat me like in some ******** dog. I hate it here. I have never been so degraded and humiliated in my life.
