I dont think its as good as it use to be. The food wasnt great. It was just ok
Great food and the most kindhearted staff. We were there for early dinner today and the server went above and beyond to accommodate my family. She by far exceeded all of our expectations. 👍🏻👍🏻
Been a while since we'd visited since we now live in the South Hills. Eaten at Alexander's many times over the years. Took our 8yr old to celebrate his birthday. Same great place and great food! And they were great with our son and 4yr old daughter. Kudos.
I called Alexander's last night at 10:45 because my husband was being admitted to Shadyside Hospital and we had been there from 5 PM, so we hadn't had dinner. I was looking for someplace to get a takeout. And although they were done serving and the chef was gone, the man I spoke to, (maybe the owner), offered to make me salads so that we would have something. We were visiting colleges with our son and we let him pick the place for dinner. It was very nice. The server was very attentive and the food was great. Next time we are in town we will be going back.
