Not only is the food amazing, the staff is the best ever!
I had family in town for the weekend and brought them to Alexander's. The service was excellent! The staff really made my family, including my (at times) fussy 2-year-old feel welcome. AND THE FOOD! Amazing! The veal diablo is one of the best meals I've ever had.

This is a "must visit" place for Italian in Pittsburgh, PA. In the heart of Little Italy, this gem has outdoor seating, indoor seating and a beautiful, full service bar. The wedding soup cannot be duplicated at any restaurant. Lunch has smaller portions that are more than filling. The bread and oil offered at the beginning of the meal took me back to my grandmother's amazing homemade Italian bread. The service was impeccable and the prices reasonable for homemade pasta and traditional Italian cooking.
