great bedside manner. my whole family goes to him. he has found cancerous cells in my brother and successfully removed them. I just went to him with a very large growth on my back. He painlessly removed it.
This review is long over due. Dr is a very smart business man but a terrible Dr. Anyone with a skin condition especially autoimmune related (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, etc) should seek help else where. Otherwise you will be consulted to go through endless painful, extremely costly, & permanently scarring procedures along with medications that only offer very short term benefits with long term irreversible side effects. We love Dr. Doctoroff. He makes my scaredy cat husband comfortable, and I really appreciate that. My husband always leave the office happy that he went to see Dr. Doctoroff. We went to We go to Dr. Doctoroff in Teaneck, but we have gone to the Clark office for my husband's Mohs surgery. Dr. Doctoroff was recommended to my husband when he needed Mohs surgery on his nose and our regular dermatologist could not perform this surgery. Now we only go to Dr. Doctoroff. VERY expensive. Charges $100 per skin tag for removal. This is a quick procedure, requires only novocaine, and is often not covered by insurance. Much more reasonable fees at other practices.
Disregard outdated reviews regarding wait times - that issue is much improved - and you're seeing a DOCTOR, not a PA like everywhere else. I'll wait to see a real, board-certified doctor and so should you. He's the best in the whole area, no question.
Never on time. 920am appt. He walked into the office at 930am. It's 1120am I'm still waiting to be seen.

I agree with others here who have bemoaned the ridiculous wait times. It seems like the minimum wait time is an hour. Then he rushes through the appointment without giving details about your problem unless you ask a bunch of questions. The whole experience smacks of his disrespect for his patients and their time. He is overbooking, resulting in long wait times and rushed service. I went to him for four visits for an issue with my daughter and a separate issue with myself. I will not be returning to his practice.
Knowledgeable doctor, diagnosed my problem quickly and accurately. Prescription helped. The office is modern and staff is pleasant. There was a wait to see the doctor (2 weeks), but it was worth it.
