This is the 2nd review I have left regarding Dr. Asser. My initial visit with him was a handful of years ago. I was having some real issues at that time with almost constant run away heart palpitations. I was beyond miserable. I couldn't sleep. I didn't know what was going on. My previous cardiologist had me on a specific medication for this which initially worked very well but over a period of time (years) was not at all effective and I had reached the maximum dosage. Being Asser’s patient has been my worst medical experience. There is no follow up, pre-or post procedure, the lack of empathy and bedside manner is appalling. If you wish to be treated as a number, and not a person with a critical medical issue, this is the medical practice for you.
He is the rudest doctor I have ever dealt with. He was the doctor on call, and when he called me back, he complained that he was driving in traffic and I was making g his driving difficult. He also gave me medical advice that was in conflict with another doctor and he would not let me explain
Took great care of our Mom with a pacemaker in her 90s. She just turned 98! Thank you Dr Asser, staff and wonderful medical workers at Shady Grove Hospital!
