A popular microbrewery located a little away from the city center, Ale Asylum started off with a humble production capacity of 11,000 barrels. Their consistently good brews met with success and led to an expansion in 2012, with the brewery now capable of producing 50,000 barrels. Stopped in for a bite and brew before dropping my sister off for a flight. Only meant to make it a quick in-and-out, as we had a 3 hour return drive home, but ended up spending a couple of hours, as we enjoyed it so much. Unfurtanetly we had a bad experience, the place is not kid/family friendly. No kids allowed in the tour, first brewery tour we ran into this. Being from Milwaukee I have experienced the opposite. -But I can see where the difference reside, the people that goes there is rude. My two year old was walking by our table while we were having a beer, when a man saw her and stopped because she as on his way but he decided to keep walking pushing her with his big leg making her fall to the ground.
