A popular microbrewery located a little away from the city center, Ale Asylum started off with a humble production capacity of 11,000 barrels. Their consistently good brews met with success and led to an expansion in 2012, with the brewery now capable of producing 50,000 barrels. Ambergeddon, Ballistic IPA and Bedlam IPA are some of their popular brews available. Enjoy these and more of their stellar beers on tap at the Tasting Room on site. I’ve always had a good experience with ale asylum...until now. Sat down waited 10 minutes watched others getting served even those that came in after us and no one came by. They are clearly far too successful to bother with us. I guess there’s really no reason to go back. I liked when they were small. It was better service.

Just had fantastic sandwich called the Bada Bing, definitely exceeded me expectations. And even though it was busy, I was greeted quickly with a smile from the illustrious Mary. Thank you for the great experience!
The beer was absolutely amazing! Stopped in at the recommendation of some locals while in town for a class. However..... the service was the worst ive ever experienced. The bartender was an older woman who obviously didnt want to be there and has no business being in contact with the public. Ive seen some other reviews that recommend you buy their beer at the grocery store and skip the visit. I second this. Great beer. Poor service.
Great food & beer, people were friendly and informative with explaining the different beers!
