A popular microbrewery located a little away from the city center, Ale Asylum started off with a humble production capacity of 11,000 barrels. This is quite probably my favorite Taphouse! I love nearly every beer and the food is amazing! The tours are very informative and fun. It is hard to believe they could be so successful producing amazing beer and still have such high standards everywhere else in the business.
We stopped in for a beer Saturday. We have always wanted to try this place. We loved it!! They have great beer and the staff was was so helpful. Will be going back again.
I don’t know how anyone would rate this place lower than 5 stars!! Great atmosphere, accommodating and helpful staff, delicious food and amazing beer! Try the taco flat bread! You won’t be disappointed!!
The beer and food were awesome!! Service was lackluster at best. Our server spent more time chatting with other coworkers than following up when we had empty glasses, needed to order, etc.
Great place. Love the atmosphere. Service was excellent.
We spent the weekend in Madison doing tours and trying local craft beers. We really enjoyed the tour! The tour guide was very informative and passionate about the brand, which made our visit all the more enjoyable. The bartender was great too! The whole aesthetic of Ale Asylum is a fun and enticing! I recommend this brewery to anyone who loves craft beer.
