My entire life I've avoided going to the dentist because it always hurt, thus I was anxious to go to the dentist. (I have one of the few LOGICAL anxiety issues!) My friend, Sue, told me to try Dr. Winter because he did sedation dentistry and was easy to work with. It turns out I have a ridiculously low pain tolerance and Dr. Winter figured it out in the first visit. No more pain = no more anxiety. I go every 6 months and I even chipped a filling and had no problem calling to get right in for a quick fix!
I have a HUGE fear of dentists. I started coming to this practice 2 years ago and Dr. Winter was the first dentist I liked (& probably the first one who didn't equally hate me). I was disappointed when I went in today and found out he was out for the afternoon... UNTIL I went back and met Kara and Dr. Denning. So it was a typical story- hadn't gone to the dentist in many years because no matter what they did, it hurt. My friend suggested Dr. Winter and I ended up seeing his old associate because it was an emergency and he had the opening. I kept going because it was a great atmosphere and I felt like they listened to me. Dr. Denning is one of the most intelligent, compassionate and kind people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He made a frightful situation for my son so easy and alleviated all the anxiety we dealt with for months. Thank you so much Dr. Denning, I will shout from the mountain tops that you are the only dentist for my family! You are our hero! Thank you :) And your staff rock too!
