The absolute best financial institution around. We have used Alaska USA for several years and they are always easy to work with and comprised of a professional, polite staff. Will continue using them, even though we have relocated out of the PNW. Their online banking makes it extremely easy to manage everything you need right from their app.
Horrible. I was member from 2008 or earlier and never got nothing from them I had $8000 and aplied for credit and was denied, I moved to another state and never sent not even the news paper people needs to wake up this people use our money we should be able to decide how much interest to charged them for using our money not the way around. Horrible.
Terrible place! The mortgage division screwed us over. They sold us a house that was in violation of the flood plane act. When we turned to ask for help they wouldn't lift a finger.
I have had an account with my husband since 2002. My husband has recently passed and this financial institution refuses to make anything I try to do easy. I paid off a loan in February and have been waiting for the title as I have sold the Camper. I called today and they told me they would not be releasing my title until I sent a death certificate, however this title was an or title and rightfully mine. WORSE FCU I've ever dealt with going on 2 weeks trying to resolve issue with my financed vehicle that was a total error on the FCU. Customer Service refers you to branch and the branch rep is unable to resolve and refers back to Customer Service. So what now, I'm done waisting valuable time getting know where, I'll wait on them to make things right before we recommend anyone to Alaska USA FCU
I have had more than one bad experience with Alaska Federal Credit Union. I talked to someone at the 4th and Battery location about setting up an automatic payment months ago. Not only was this set up on the wrong date, when I went back into get more information to the now closed location in the Safeway in Renton, he told me it had never been set up.
