Dr. Nelms and all of the staff of Alabama Veterinary Specialists treated us like family. Our bulldog needed surgery to correct an issue with her eyes. As any bulldog parent knows, anesthesia is scary, but she calmed our fears and assured us she would be with Presley every step of the way and would give her the extra attention required for a bulldog. Dr. Nelms and her staff are the best! I wouldn’t trust anyone else, nationwide! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Dr. Nelms and staff are the most caring and dedicated professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
It was my first visit and Dr. Nelms and staff were very knowledgeable and caring. My pup was a perfect patient and the immediate results of procedure has made both of our lives better! Hated that I had to be there...but it was a great experience all the way around.
Dr. Nelms is amazing. We have used her since the 90's. wonderful eyecare.
They're not always open. It's 10:30 on a Sunday morning and my dog needs to be seen; and no one is anywhere to be found. Thanks .
The staff was very diligent, friendly, and compassionate. They made sure to make my boyfriend and I very aware of everything that they would be doing with our dog and explained the processes. I would definitely take my dog back to see them if anything were to happen again. Thanks so much for the great service!
