Dr. Watanabe has an excellent staff - pleasant, professional, thorough, and accomodating. They explained the procedures as they were being done, and answered whatever concerns I had. No wonder, because she, herself also exhibits the same caring & professional qualities. I made an appointment with her office based on a referral, and I was highly pleased.
The entire staff, from receptionists to nurses, technicians, and dentist, is professional and friendly. Their examinations are thorough, their explanations are clear and free of medical jargon, and their treatment is effective. Their emphasis is on comprehensive long-term preventive care, and to that end every visit is an education on how to best care for your teeth. As a patient, I feel confident that I'm getting the best possible care.

I had a great visit at the dentist today. Never thought I'd say that. The gentleman who cleaned my teeth did a fabulous job, especially considering how stained they were and how long it took to do a thorough job. He also went out of his way to explain what he was doing. I was referred to a specialist and they got me an appointment tomorrow! Hope they're as thorough as Ala Moana Dentistry.
Friendly, professional, careful, personable and caring. I don't know how to say it any better, but I actually look forward to going to the dentist. If you're looking for a great dentist, this practice has it all.
