Today was our 1st time to Al-Ts since the new ownership. Our food we ordered was amazing, the drinks were great, and our waiter was very attentive! Loved the new atmosphere! We will definitely be back and spreading the word to our family and friends on how great our experience was!
Love the Atmosphere, down home country style....not to mention food was Awesome, especially their buttered rolls & their boudain is a must to try....love, love, love!!
Service was great and our food was super good!! I had the club sandwich & my hubby had the hamburger! Both were excellent & the fries were super crispy! It's so nice inside. They did a great job on the new Alts �
We've been going to Al-T's for years. The waitress was really good and attentive, however the food was bland and had no flavor or seasoning. Also there was a clear absence of dabbing sauce on the grilled shrimp which was what kept us coming back in the past. The bread was also dry and not the melt-in-your-mouth bread that used to be served. So same great service, but please bring back the classics and the seasoning!
Firs of all, it's always hard to deal with change. Everyone will have their opinion and experience and it will always differ. I've been to many of my favorite places and have had a bad experience at least once. What makes me always go back is the atmosphere, staff and the great management willing to work with you on those bad days. This can't be easy for the new owners. The Texas French Toast is the best! Perfect fried eggs!
We loved the new Al-T's. Our server was very polite and informative. Our food came out promptly and was great. Loved the new look.
Went today to try the new BC Special, which is what we would drive from Nederland for frequently, it was good, but definitely not what it used to be. The boudain is different, the cheese is different and I felt shorted on the gumbo portion. I so hoped it would be the same recipe, but it's just not the same. Disappointed... :(
