We ate there last night & really liked it. Crab cakes I had were wonderful & I liked the slight twist on the remoulade with them. Steve had shrimp cocktail & really liked the less than traditional sauce it contained. My only disappointment was the blue cheese dressing on my salad. Al T's had the best blue cheese dressing I'd ever eaten but what they have now is thin & lacks flavor. I hope the new owners will reconsider this choice & go back to the original kind. My first post went to the old Facebook page. Now that I'm on the new Page The grilled shrimp were terrible, The crawfish étouffée was terrible, we got an appetizer called crawpups it was supposed to have crawfish and sausage in the hush puppy but couldn't find any crawfish and it tasted nasty. We have been going to the old Al T's for a long time and love the food. This food is definitely not cajun.

We purposely waited for the natural growing pains that come with every new restaurant to settle down and we can honestly say we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and the service made us smile! We'll be regulars!
We had dinner tonight and it was great! Love the new look and the food was fantastic! Thanks Kacey and Brad. Looking forward to a bright future at the new Al-T's!
My dad was from Louisiana and I have eaten Cajun food my entire life and what I experienced tonight was not Cajun. I did appreciate the remodeled and cleaned up interior, however the food was lacking in every way. I ordered the gulf shrimp something or other platter so I could taste a variety. The shrimp étouffée was thick, sticky, bland and the roux was clearly not cooked leaving a flour taste, the boiled shrimp was tough due to over cooking, the grilled shrimp was just that grilled and the boudin was cold in the middle. I have been back at least three times since reopening have yet to have anything that wasn't great , really awesome to see the love put back into this restaurant, the new bar is wonderful and the smoke free environment and new clean smell makes this hands down the best it's ever been cant wait for breakfast to return .
Please bring back honey for the bread and fried green beans!
I LOVED IT!!! It was totally time for an update and it is BEAUTIFUL!! Also, FOOD WAS FANTASTIC! The prices are comparable and the atmosphere is such a nice improvement. Totally enjoyed the Crawfish Queso, Fried Fish, Delightful Avocado with REAL gumbo, Chicken Fried Steak, and AMAZING Bread Pudding. Great job!!
