Everything on the menu is wonderful, from the appetizers to dessert. Fast, friendly service and nice atmosphere!
When on Friday night for our regular Dirty Herbie fix...this is second time since new owners.. Wait staff extremely good..constantly checking on us..management was always checking on customers...my steak on the Dirty Herbie was not completely cooked like I asked for (burnt)...manager came by and fix immediately...onion rings perfect..as usual took doggy bags home....oh by the I believe the manager reduced the price on both of our meals. Will be returning soon...
Our first time to go since new owners. Extremely disappointed in the food. The rolls and fried pickles were good. My fried Oysters were greasy and not crispy as in the past and bland. My husband's platter was bad also. The catfish filet was so thin it was like the had made 2 filets out of one. The etoufee was onions and 3 crawfish. No flavor to any of his fried food. My husband is Cajun and this was one Restaurant where he enjoyed the food. Not any more.
I've worked all over the U.S, and eaten more restaurants than most locals can imagine. The complaints are based on new ownership not food and service. Obviously change is an issue in this area. This is a great restaurant with great food and service. Me and my guys eat there several nights each week, and have yet to be unsatisfied.
YUM!!!! best seafood gumbo. Husband had the dirty herbie and loved it!!! Great service, nice friendly people.
