🔥 🥩 So....this place and the entree I had was recommended by a friend of mine who lives in the area! I had 3 layers of greatness known as the “Dirty Herbie”! The top layer is a cubed up fire grilled ribeye steak.....the middle layer is a flawless crawfish etouffeé.......the base layer is dirty rice greatness!!! The 3 together....holy smoke!! It is an explosion of Texas and Louisiana in every bite!! (And no they didn’t pay me to say that....it was just that good!) Thanks Jake Loiacano for the recommendation on not only the ... read more
Outstanding Cajun Cuisine: T’s Sampler was just as advertised, “a little bit of a lot of stuff.” The Boudoin Balls were on point.
Someone ruined this once great establishment. I do not recommend it
We stayed overnight in Winnie and the restaurant was next door. The hotel clerk recommended it and said people drive miles to go there. First the hostess tried to seat us by the kitchen and we declined and suggested another spot Restaurant was not crowded. Food was just ok Steak was overdone and crab on top was dry. Service was terrible. Asked another waitress to send her back as we wanted another drink. Never came. Finally we flagged down the manager and he brought the drinks. Won’t go back.
Each time I am in the area I always try to eat at Al T's....I have brought friends from NC to experience the food. One of my friends loves the cracklins and says they are the best she has ever had! You guys never disappoint! Plus I know you were cooking and helping Harvey victims so you get my food dollars as a small payback every time I am in Winnie...love your food! Plus we sat at the bar and had great service. Could not have asked for better!
Service was wonderful. Baked potato was cold. Hush puppies undercooked, onion rings, meh. Maque Choux, no. Catfish, okay. At least American raised. Manager, “ Sorry y’all had a bad experience. Give us another try”. Probably not.
I don’t know why but I NEVER get good service here and I mean never. I ordered food to go on my way home from work and when I get here they had given my food to someone else who had left with the food. Told me the people were bringing it right back and I could have it. They left with it. I don’t know them no I don’t want it when they bring it back. I never get good service here.
Great service and excellent food. Definitely will be back, oh and the margarita excellent also.
Food was excellent and the ambiance is very comfortable
