3 different doctors told us 3 different things!!!
A year ago today my son was misdiagnosed at another hospital. Your staff found the problem immediately and saved his life! If we would of put him to sleep one more night we would not have him. The words THANK YOU are not enough!!
I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. After having a TERRIBLE experience at St. Joes we were transferred here for my 3 month old daughter to be hospitalized. We arrived around 3am after spending 5 hours at St. Joes ER. From the moment I walked in the nurses were SO compassionate and understanding. As were the Drs. I was a wreck because I'm a FTM and this is the first time my daughter has been sick, then to be told she needed to stay with an IV. They assured me everything would be okay. I had the worst experience with Akron Children's today. First of all the nurses were rude as fuck. when they were giving Chandler his IV they kept telling him to stop crying there was nothing to cry about. and when the nurse came in and asked him if he wanted something to drink and said,"no thank you mommy got me Sprite" the male nurse looked at him and said "what I didn't hear you"Chan said "no thanks I have Sprite" he said "well that's not what I asked, it's either Powerade or juice" Powerade it is I guess. Super ppl and staff. Beautifull place. Everyone is nice and they are excellent taking care of children and babies.
