My daughter had chemical inhalation...rushed her to ER on Tuesday...they did no treatment..she declined so went to our family Dr and she had a systematic reaction by weds afternoon and was given prednisone. Thursday she was even worse and dehydrated so took her back to ER. The ER Dr. Billo walked in the room without even examining her first and said "There is nothing wrong with your daughter and we are giving her Ativan and watching her overnight. We couldn't be more satisfied with our care at Akron children's! Our surgeons Dr. Handler and Dr. Jones as well as the anesthesiologist, the vice president of the hospital(who made time to speak with us), the staff of nurses and everyone else who was involved with our case (from registration, to surgery, to recovery, to admitting, physical & respiratory therapy, and social workers, room service/bistro, gift shop, toy delivery department), everyone involved were wonderful!!
